Fill a 4 quart saucepan with filtered water an inch from the top, leaving room for the lemons and ginger.
Cut the lemons in 4ths and squeeze the juice into the water.
Add the lemon rind to the water and juice.
Cut the ginger root into small chunks and add to the lemon water.

Extremely simple to make, this tea can be taken with sweetener of your choice. When drinking it hot, I like to use a little bit of honey. If you want to make it sweet then refrigerate and drink it cold, add the Xylitol to the entire pot as directed in the recipe instructions.I don't like to put a lot of sugar into my body, even natural sugars, so I'll leave out the sweetener and put it in my morning smoothies.
