How to Break Your Fast

You’ve just gained all these health benefits from fasting, but are now ready to eat. But what do you eat to keep the health benefits going?

Fasting is hard, and to break your fast that will undo everything you worked so hard to gain from this would be a travesty. When you reset your gut biome, the first foods you put into it will be the foods your body will ask for more.

Therefore, use conscious eating from here on out. Chose what you eat wisely, knowing your body will ask for more.

What to Eat After a Fast

I want my body to beg for nutrient dense foods so I made my green smoothie that I’ve been taking for the past 44 days, minus the fast. I’ll continue eating a variation of these shakes at least once a day for the rest of my life.

  • Chard
  • Kale
  • Spinach
  • Cucumber
  • Celery
  • Handful of mixed berries: blueberries, black berries, strawberries, raspberries
  • Apricot seeds
  • Flaxseed
  • Apple Cidar Vinegar

Sounds gross you say? Yes. It is, but if it kicks the cancer, I’ll drink it day and night.
